About

Scavland Wiki (scav.land) is an independent, unofficial fan wiki dedicated to Scavland, a Open-world survival RPG on Steam developed by NoShadow. Our mission is to provide accurate, dated survival guides, weapon references, location notes, and mechanics explanations — with clear labels when a fact still needs a playtest log.
Independence and trademarks
Scavland Wiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with NoShadow, Valve, or Steam. Game names, logos, artwork, characters, and related assets belong to their respective owners. We reference Scavland only to help players with informational guides and we link to official sources whenever we cite facts.
What we cover
- Beginner survival loops, game modes, and Early Access update history
- Weapon systems, attachments methodology, and ammo / armor-penetration rules from patch notes
- Zalesye location types (ruins, bunkers, hazards) without inventing unverified coordinates
- Mechanics status pages (radiation / Mist, abilities, shelters, trading, reputation)
- Our methodology for labeling confirmed notes vs playtest TBD
How we source and label information
We write every article in our own words. Facts come primarily from:
- NoShadow's official Steam store page for Scavland;
- Official Steam news / patch notes (we cite the patch version and date);
- Repeatable in-game observation logged with a game-version badge.
We separate three layers on every page when possible:
- Confirmed from official notes as of [DATE / patch] — statements taken from primary sources with a link;
- Wiki playtest log — what we measured in a named build (method, sample size, caveats);
- Editorial advice — our recommendations, clearly labelled as interpretation.
We do not invent damage numbers, armor values, reputation thresholds, loot tables, or map coordinates. If a value is not in official notes and has not been measured by us, we leave a placeholder table or omit the number. Each article shows the game version it was checked against and the last-updated date, because Early Access balance patches can invalidate older advice.
Corrections and ownership
Corrections: [email protected] with the page URL, what is wrong, the game version if known, and a source (patch note or screenshot description). We review reports and update pages when a correction is confirmed. Editorial responsibility for scav.land content rests with the Scavland Wiki editorial contact above. This site has no user-generated comment database that alters guide facts without review.
