When is the Scavland release date?
Scavland entered Steam Early Access on September 4, 2026. That launch is historical fact — the game is playable now, and this wiki tracks post-launch patches through Hotfix 0.8.8 (October 19, 2026). See the Early Access update history for a dated synthesis.
Before buying, still use the official store page linked from the site header for price, language list, and Deck status. After installation, the beginner guide covers first-run priorities.
What is confirmed for Early Access?
NoShadow describes Scavland as an open-world survival RPG. Confirmed EA content includes Act I progression, a handcrafted open world, procedural underground bunkers, mutants and bandits, gathering, crafting, trading, contracts, main and side quests, 10 factions, more than 25 firearms and melee weapons, and more than 300 weapon attachments.
Post-launch notes also added systems such as Explorer mode, sleep, stash expansions, armor penetration, Dogface Rides, and additional languages. Presence is confirmed; exact balance still requires ongoing testing.
These features are organized across the maps, weapons, and mechanics sections.
What platform is Scavland on?
The announced platform is Windows through Steam. The store page lists single-player play, Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, and Steam Deck compatibility with full controller support. Language support has expanded during EA (including an early Chinese option in 0.6.0 and Polish/Turkish/Korean in 0.8.0) — verify your preferred language on the live store page and read Chinese localization notes.
What can change during Early Access?
NoShadow says Early Access is expected to last roughly 12 to 24 months. The published plan mentions continued polish, new locations and content, improved balance, deeper quests and factions, NPC companions, enhanced AI, and future multiplayer co-op. These are development goals rather than guarantees for any single patch week. Every wiki page carries a verification date.
For progression systems, continue with quests and reputation and abilities and skill tree.
